| The whole area of Siskiyou county and down the eastern side, as well as up into Oregon was formed from Volcanic activitry. One only has to drive through the country and surrounding area to see how it has been layered upon layers. In certain areas you can see lava tubes that have collapsed, and Obsidian on Glass Mountain.
